What is covered for Event Cancellation Team Coverage?

Covered reasons for reimbursement include weather-related conditions that cancel the outdoor event. See policy for specific covered perils.

What is covered for Indoor Team Registration Protection?

Covered reasons for reimbursement include injuries and illnesses affecting at least 1/3 of the team, severe weather-related travel delays affecting at least 1/3 of the team, and if the event is fully cancelled due to extreme weather. 

How long is the team covered?

Coverage starts the day after the policy is purchased. You are eligible to file a claim if a covered peril occurs on or after the first day of coverage or at any point during the event.

Is the team covered if the event is canceled part-way through?

In the unfortunate scenario the event is cancelled or disrrupted, insured teams receive refunds based on the number of games played versus the games guaranteed.

How do I file a claim?

After purchase, you can create a free account in our Customer Portal. The portal will display a full list of your active policies and links to begin the claims process. Click here for instructions on how to create an account.

Can I cancel my policy?

If you’re not satisfied with Event Cancellation Team Coverage for any reason, you have the option to cancel your policy within ten (10) days of the initial purchase date – as long as you have not filed a claim. To cancel your policy, please contact us at support@vicoverage.com.
