Who is covered by my policy?
Trip Protection covers you (the traveler), your travel companion, and your family if a family member causes your trip to be cancelled. For example, if a traveler’s father becomes ill and the traveler needs to cancel the trip, the traveler will be reimbursed even if the father wasn’t scheduled to be on the trip.
Can I change my coverage dates if my plans have changed?

How do I file a claim?
After purchase, you can create a free account in our Customer Portal. The portal will display a full list of your active policies and links to begin the claims process. Click here for instructions on how to create an account.
What will I need to file a claim?
When submitting a claim, please be prepared to provide proof of your travel accommodations (e.g. plane ticket, hotel booking confirmation), as well as documentation on what prevented you from attending your trip (e.g. medical policy, police report). Our adjusters will guide you through the claims process depending on your unique circumstances.
Can I cancel my policy?
If you are not satisfied with the product for any reason, you have the option to cancel your policy within ten (10) days of the initial purchase date – as long as you have not filed a claim. To cancel your policy, please contact us at support@verticalinsure.com.
